Description:
Assist Instructor in the classroom while supervising students in various tasks. Multiple candidates will be hired to work with students in:
Firefighter|EMT
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
Diesel Technology, and
Animal Management & Care (grooming skills desirable)
Prior experience working with students in a classroom setting preferred
Willingness to work in labs of different Career Technical Trades.
Qualifications:
Holds a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Possesses appropriate state of Ohio certification/license, i.e., Ohio Educational Aide certificate.
Has classroom experience with handicapped students.
Completes documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
Acquires alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate.
Completes documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
Possesses a valid Ohio driver’s license.
Possesses or obtains within six (6) weeks of employment van driver certification.
Possesses or obtains within six (6) weeks of employment ParaPro/ESEA certification.
Hours and Days:
5 hours/day as needed not to exceed 29 hours a week
